Escape Goat Remake. (PS3)

Hi everybody!
I recently played through a little series of games known as Escape Goat 1 & 2. It is a 2D puzzle platformer, where you control a magical purple goat, and his acrobatic little mouse friend. Your objective is to get all the keys in a room, then get to the exit door without getting killed by various diabolic traps and monstrosities. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rgNbX1gIrg4 So. Here is my problem with my level. The goat I'm making is obviously an Oddsock. Now the problem is, how do i make Oddsock stop wall-jumping/sliding? This is really annoying, and it ruins the gameplay-concept. Any solutions? Comment on my profile if you want to join me. |

I think you can change it with a gameplay tweaker. I'm not sure though.

Hi Lenni.
Gameplay logic was also my first thought but couldnt tweak anything with it. At least it says while loading, when you dont want the sack to jump then you can disable it. Maybe i am to clumsy to find the real deal. So i was playing with logic until i created something that works in some way. I am not so perfectly happy with it but you can try it on my earth and copy it. I hope that it helps. |

You could try placing 2 Action Sensors, or whatever it is called, on the OddSock, have one 'Wall Jumping' and one 'Wall Sliding', and place a Mover to push the OddSock down on to the floor if he attempts to wall jump. So let's go over that again,
1. 2 Action Sensors (found it Creature Sensors section in Tools Bag) 2. Make one 'Wall Jumping' and one 'Wall Sliding'. 3. Place an Or-Gate and connect the sensors to it. 4. Get a Mover and tweak it to move down in the way you like. 5. Connect the Or-Gate to the Mover. This may do the trick. Happy Experimenting! |

Exactly what i made but it looks strange in action.
I would prefer a solution where you can disable it directly in the gameplay tweaker. Edit: If it would be tweakable in the gameplay tweaker, then i could at last work on 3D swoop flying. |
