This is my next big project after the completion of the eye of judgement. It is a story about a locksmith and his family, one day an evil force takes his family and he must save them by fighting off evil and finding clues to his familys whereabouts. The game will consist of a crafting system which the player uses to craft; lockpicks, weapons and other items such as parts for your house. There are 5 diffrent types of lockpicks which are; normal, silver, explosive, platinum and magna. Most can be ed on all locks but the magna only works on magnetic locks. You have the chance to force a lock and there is a % of the lock opening depending on your current lockpicking skill. If you break the lock you must use an explosive lockpick to open the lock. Supplies can be bought from the town and can be found and are used for crafting and trading. There will be the option to barter with people in the town where you can sell and buy things. There will also be diffrent types of locks depending on where you are trying to break into; bolt lock rotates clockwise, multibolt lock rotates both directions, dead locks are on a timer and an alarm will sound alerting guards if you miss the time limit, magna lock rotates both directions and works like a safe lock would, double locks need to be turned at the same time. Thank you im gonna prototype the locks and crafting system this weekend then start on the design of the town and get my laptop out to write up a script for the story if you have any ideas you think would fit into the story the feel free to leave them below
