Sure, what are you having problems doing?
At the core of every menu is a selector. Most people just wire the analog stick to the cycle input of the selector, which allows you to scroll up and down through it. The title and menu screens are a little more tricky. One way is to use 2 cameras. The first camera points at the title screen, then when you press a button it switches to the second camera which points at the menu. Here's how I would do it: https://i.imgur.com/puYEIzp.jpg ? By default the first camera will be active, so that will be the title screen camera. ? Then, when you press it goes to the second camera which points at the menu. ? At the same time when you press it also activates the microchip, which has the menu logic inside. The menu logic is inside a microchip so the player can't use the menu when they're on the title screen. If this doesn't help just say. |

nice and easy to understand little tutorial Ayneh
also, up and down are inverted from the selector. so if you press down it will go up. if you want your selection to be up for up and down for down, you can pick up a selector, flip it with the R3 button and place it back down. this will easily fix that issue and it will look more organized than wiring things backwards. |

If you can get it working for a small menu you'll be set, you just add stuff on.

Try making the menu logic in the microchip by itself first and confirm that it works.
If it's not clear from the photo: ? Wire to the cycle port of the selector. ? Wire each output port of the selector to an individual AND gate. ? Wire to the remaining port of each AND gate. If it works then we have narrowed down the problem to outside the menu logic. |
