Hi guys. Allow me to introduce myself. The names' Oscar...OscarQ. I'm an aspiring creator on LBP who has published to the limit on LBP and I have just come out with my second level on LBP 2. It was long, long overdue because sadly as I was first creating the level, (Planet in Peril 2) my ps3 started having alot of issues and it broke several times and I kept losing my data. I would have to remake the level almost entirely (its a pretty big and complex level) every time and then my data would be lost again. So for a long long period of time I had almost given up on making it. But over a month ago, I gathered together some more will power and used all the positive feedback on my LBP 1 levels as inspiration to finally finish it once and for all. So each time I finished working on the level for a certain day, I backed up data to the online storage thanks to the playstation plus service and also to an external hard drive. I wasn't gonna lose my data this time. And taking these precautions saved me multiple times. And just under a week ago, I finally finished and published it.
In LBP, I had decent recognition for my "Village in Peril" and "Village Wars" series. They weren't the most amazing levels from a technical stand point but I believe what got me as much attention as I have, was the story I crafted. But now in LBP 2, with my new follow up series called Planet in Peril, I do believe I am excellent from a technical stand point and story wise. However, I have not gotten nearly as much plays as I did for my Village Wars series, so I am struggling for them to be noticed and enjoyed by my fanbase and more to come. And that is my story as an LBP creator. I look forward to getting along with the LBP community here. |
