Hi friends,

while reorganizing the LBFMusic forum, I played a lot of music levels and its 
astonishing to me how different music levels can be.
In this thread I want to describe some of the different sorts of music levels 
that I've found during my little trip through our musical areas of the little big 
planet universe.


"One Song" Levels

This is the basic form of any music level, one song, activated by a player 
sensor or any other kind of switch.., 

...the simplest way is a presentation without any visuals, focussed on the 
song only...

...the more complex "One Song" levels usually add some visual effects or embed the tune in 
wonderful eye candy sceneries...

Music Galleries

These are music levels where the composer presents more than one of his 
songs. Besides of the music tunes the core element mostly is the menu to 
choose the song one wants to listen to. 
There are endless possibilities to design the menu from simple and functional 
to complex. 

Some levels use simple menus, others use menus with submenus and there 
are sheer infinite possibilities to combine the meu with additional visual effects...

Extraordinary Complex and Epic Music Levels

This is a special category for music levels which cannot be classified in 
normal categories anymore...

...one example is a full music video clip...

...the lbp version of the musical "Elisabeth" created by Dini_at_home_400 is a wonderful and highly complex level cause its the full musical and with this level Dini_at_home_400 has set herself a monument which hardly can get beaten anymore.
